Hello,
I have a FortiGate where VDOM mode has been disable : we do not need VDOM anymore so I've deleted all VDOMs except root. Then I disable VDOM mode on the Fortigate as if there never was any VDOM.
In my FortiAnalyzer I deleted all old VDOM in CLI but I still can see the root VDOM entry behind my device.
I cannot (and don't want to) delete the root VDOM and its logs but just want to see the device without any VDOM (as it is by default when I add a new device with VDOM mode disable).
All mys devices are in v6.0.
Nominating a forum post submits a request to create a new Knowledge Article based on the forum post topic. Please ensure your nomination includes a solution within the reply.
Currently there is no way to change the FortiAnalyzer display to NOT display VODM name in your case without deleting/readding the FortiGate to FortiAnalyzer.
If you are interested in having this capability in the future, I encourage you to open a support ticket and/or speak with your Fortinet sales team or partner.
