Device group policy is not working

Hi Guys, I know my device is old but I was hoping someone can help me. I am trying to block all traffice coming from a device group 

My device is FortiGate 200B 5.2.15

I was testing and I created a device group and I added oneAccess points to it. I created a policy and I blocked all traffic coming from this device group. however other devices in different groups keep gowing through this policyand geting blocked.

have you checked by making a group based on MAC address or IP address? If not, try this option.
