Dashboard not assessable

Hi Community,

 

I have a strange issue with my FG50e.

When trying to connect to the Fortigate Dashboard on my PC in the local lan and on the same subnet like the fortigate it self, no connection can be established. 

Login from my Fortinet account via remote works.

Ping from my PC to the firewall works.

The log files the firewall send to my mail shows ui="GUI(169.254.0.1)" instead of the local lan IP of my PC.

Has anybody had an issue like this?

Hi,

 

Did you mean that no ssh/telnet/http/https from local lan to FortiGate LAN interface work? Is it also the same while accessing the wan ip address of FortiGate from local subnet?

Hi Jin,

SSH with putty works fine from my local PC on the same subnet local lan. HTTP/HTTPS does not work on local lan.

Yes it is the same wan IP of Fortigate from local subnet.

Issue has been resolved. It tuned out the FG50E was faulty and has been replaced.
