I Have an DHCP interface on my Fortigate 500D but I want to expand that to service multiple computers. I was given a Fortiswitch 28C to do that. I cannot figure out how to configure the switch to allow the computers behind it to use the Fortigate DHCP server to get their IP Addresses.
I can't help but feel this the wrong hardware for what I need, as a network hub is what I have used in the past. I have never used a switch before and it doesn't seem like it has a pass through type mode. Especially since I have to explicitly assign it an IP address.
