Current Bandwith Monitor

Hello,

For each firewall rule we can see the Current Bandwidth like pic below.

Is the current bandwidth can be monitored by SNMP manager? What OID for getting this value?

Hello @HS08 ,

Below oids can be used

IF-MIB:interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifInOctets          - 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10

IF-MIB:interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifOutOctets        -1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16

you can still download MIB file and verify this OIDs

HI,  This is oid for interface utilization and not per rules.

Hi

In addition to dbhavsar suggestion, as per my knowledge this info is only available per interface, not per firewall rule.

It seems that the SNMP OID currently support these counters [.1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.5.1.2.1.1]:

  • fgFwPolPktCount
  • fgFwPolByteCount
  • fgFwPolLastUsed
  • fgFwPolPktCountHc
  • fgFwPolByteCountHc

The nearest value you can use is OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.5.1.2.1.1.6.1[.10]
Value: 189386274

Maybe you can use it in a script in your monitoring system to convert the difference of the total traffic in time and generate an approximate value of bandwidth used during that time.
