Creating shaping policy generates "incorrect address name" error

Hi all,

When I try to create a shaping policy, I get an "incorrect address name" error in the bottom right of the screen when I press OK.

My settings are...

Source: all

Destination: 3 address groups (containing IP ranges and FQDNs)

Service: all

Outgoing Int: sd-wan

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Are you using wildcard FQDNs? They can't be included in address objects.

Nope, no wildcard FQDNs.

However, I did manage to create the policy by:

1. Create a policy, but use an address (not an address group) as the destination. I used an IP range address.

2. Save the policy, it creates.

3. Edit the policy, insert the desired address groups and remove the initial address.

4. Save the policy.
