Current Fortianalyzer V6.4.11 will not support for Fortigate version 7.2.5
Hi @yeowkm99 ,
Yes, this a connectivity issue between your FAZ and FGT. You may try to put the source-ip in the FGT CLI config and test again:
config log fortianalyzer setting
set source-ip <x.x.x.x> >>> (mgmt ip that connected to FAZ)
end
(setting) # end
The Serial Number for FortiAnalyzer is not entered.
In order to verify identity of FortiAnalyzer serial number is needed.
If serial number is not set, connection will be set as unverified and
access to local config and files will be accessible only with user name/password.
FortiGate can establish a connection to obtain the serial number now.Do you want to try to connect now? (y/n)y
where do i enter the FAZ serial number in the FGT?
i have already registered the FGT in the FG300G
Hi @yeowkm99 ,
This is merely mentioned that your FAZ and FGT are connected. You may need to authorized the device in FAZ or you can close the CLI, and see the pop-up in GUI.
i am still getting the same erro after adding the source IP.
exec log fortianalyzer test-connectivity
Failed to get FAZ's status. No response from server. (-20)
issue resolved after i changed the subnet in my FAZ
from 172.32.0.0/24 to 172.32.0.0/32
We run FAZ 7.4.2 and all our FG's on 7.0.12/13 is working just fine, reporting to FAZ.
So any newer FG should work as well.
