Configure fortiswitches as active-passive

Hello guys,

 

I have two core fortiswitches primary & secondary.  Core_Primary switch is acting as gateway for endpoints.

 

Here, If I turn off the Core_Primary fortiswitch the traffic should send via Core_Secondary switch.

 

Is there anything that I can use to achieve this. Can't use VRRP as i don't have license.

If you can't use VRRP you have to move the GW configurations to another device and span the VLAN from both switches.
