Configure HA or VDOM first

hi,

i'm going to setup a pair of FG. just would like to know what is the best practice, do i configure HA active-standby first or create VDOMs first?

appreciate fortinet links/guides. TIA!

You should create HA First.  After HA is created all changes that you will made will be auto sync to slave/secondary devices.

Both ways should work fine or doesn't matter much. But if multi-vdom mode is not enabled yet, you might need to enable it first before configuring HA. That part I'm not sure if HA can follow when it's changed on the primary side. Somebody from FTNT probably can clarify that.
