Hi,
I do see that we are able to create vdoms, atleast enable it, in Azure with a PATG lic. As far as I can see there is an option to create more vdoms when adding in lics (go with BYOL).
Does anyone have any experience with using VDOMS in cloud ? Are there any specific limitations, or can I just create new interfaces and attach them to the VM - and then move them over to whatever vdom I want ? I would think that when placing a vdom enabled fortigate in azure vwan, it could have some benefits ofr a mssp for example ? Any experiences on this ?
Hello,
Only BYOL supports VDOM. Moreover, FG-VMxxV and FG-VMxxS series do not come with a multi-VDOM feature by default. You can add it by applying separate VDOM addition perpetual licenses.
