i want to close the port from 2 i already change mode from switch to interface now i cant access to fortigate 40c 192.168.1.99 default ip
First you need to get in via console (serial or usb port), then take a look at "show system interface" to find out where the default LAN ip has been moved when you changed the switch-interface mode. Likely moved to Internal1. Is it where you are trying to get into from?
sorry for typo what i meant was i want to close lan/ethernet port 2 - 4, so someone cannot plug into them and access the network i already change mode from switch to interface now i cant access to fortigate 40c 192.168.1.99 default ip
My replay is still almost the same. You need get in via console and figure out what's on Internal1(LAN1) interface including DHCP server config (config sys dhcp server). I'm assuming your PC/laptop is expecting DHCP server on the FG and can't pull any IP any more.
