Hi Guys,
I am having a problem in the scenario:
When a user tries to perform password change in Windows Client "Ctrl+Alt+Del>Change Password" , using FortiClient VPN with the option "Enable VPN before logon" It is generating error "Could not update the password, the value provided for the new password does not meet the requirements of length complexity, requirements, etc.
I could not find any log in the Event Viewer about this error or any attempt to communicate with AD
When the equipment is on the local network the change process occurs normally.
Does anyone have any idea what might be happening?
GPO Configuration: Policy Setting Enforce password history - 5 passwords remembered Maximum password age - 42 days Minimum password age - 1 days Minimum password length - 9 characters Password must meet complexity requirements - Enabled Store passwords using reversible encryption - Disabled
Hello Guys,
After some research, I found some KB's stating that this task of changing the password on remote home office equipment should be done through FortiGate and not through Windows 10.
Does anyone have any other option ?
