Hello,
I need to add 800 static routes on my box FGT100F version 6.0.3 but the default value for router.static is 500 it´s possible chage this default value ? if yes, how to.
Solved! Go to Solution.
The static route limit listed for the 100EF are hardcoded at 500. The next step up model appears to be the 300E, which allows for 5000 static routes.

Thank you, for ospf route or any other dynamic routing protocol dosen´t have limit, right ? I can´t find this information on matrix doc.
As you can see from Dave's picture, this limit pertains to one VDOM only. So you can have 500 static routes per VDOM. This might be a workaround for you.
OP you can use the max matrix to get an ideal of what;
e.g https://docs.fortinet.com/max-value-table
or from cli "print tablesize"
http://socpuppet.blogspot.com/2016/01/max-value-fortios-print-tablesize.html
o you have options as in checking for difference in fortios Version, using vdoms, or upgrade the appliance. The hardlimits can changes between version but hardly not that much nor all of the time.

Lastly, if they're in the private range and many go to the same interface, the old technique summarizing multiple static routes into super subnets might reduce the number of static routes quite significantly.
