Certification FCSS SDWAN date and sources

Hi all,

I would like to know until which date it would be possible to take the FCSS SDWAN in version 7.2 ?

Where can I get this information ?

In the Fortinet Institute, the courses I took are now archived and I'm following the courses in version 7.4 but in  the Pearson Vue Portal, I don't find it in version 7.4, only 7.2 version is available for the SDWAN certification...

Other question, I'm looking for any others sources that Fortinet Institute, for this certification, book, vidéo etc...Do you have a best seller to advice me ?

Many thanks

Regards

This is what I thought, Thank you, the descriptions are not very clear at all! (well for me anyway) so , My NSE7 runs out in May 2025, if I pass my SDWAN 7.2 in lets say December 2024, I have FCSS until December 2026, i will then need to pass the Core again to renew to 2028?

Hi Mahakpr,

Did you see this link ?
https://helpdesk.training.fortinet.com/support/solutions/articles/73000571109-recertification

I understand that Core and an elective exam are required for the FCSS Network Sec. But for the SDWAN (elective exam), it's ok for 2 years...

Hi all,

New question, for people who have passed the FCSS SDWAN. I have almost finished the free lesson on the Fortinet Institute (FCSS SDWAN) and I would like to know if there are any topics who are not covered by the free lesson but which will be present in the certification ? I mean, I didn't see FEC, Duplication packet etc...during the free formation, is it normal or I missed something ?

Best Regards

Glad you solved it! Fortinet forums and Reddit offer great resources too!

Spoiler
Certification prep is time-consuming! I struggled with that during my research semester. A friend suggested I try a write my research paper for me service and it was a game-changer. Freed up time to properly focus on my certification goals without dropping my grades.
