Hi Everyone, I have FortiWiFi 30E for offering a free wifi access. Visitors simply reach the captive portal and provide their email address (email collection).
All run well but as we also provide a shared laptop (chromebook) only the first visitor actually need to give his email !!! Other visitors never see the captive portal because the laptop is already known and connected. This happens even if each visitor use a new guest session on the chromebook.
So the question is how to identify the user, not the device ? So that all visitors will have to "authenticate" on the captive portal even through the same device ? Any thoughts would be helpful Regards!
Hi
you can create a shortcut on desktop:
http://your_IP_or_FQDN:1000/logout?
https://your_IP_or_FQDN:1003/logout?
and ask user to logout when then leave
2 FGT 100D + FTK200
3 FGT 60E FAZ VM some FAP 210B/221C/223C/321C/421E
Thanks Baptiste for this workaround but no, it doesnt' walk. The connection remain opened with another user session on the same device !
Found no solution when browsing this forum and other online resources. May be no one has never met this case :(
Any idea would be really appreciated !
Hi,
a possible work around can be this config:
config system global
set auth-keepalive enable
end
This config will maintain a web page open. This page would give to the user the "logout" button
Regards
Radu
