Captive Portal opt in with email address?

Noob here. Basically I want a captive portal that asks for an email address. Upon submission, it will allow the person to use the wifi for an extended period of time. I have searched both the docs and cookbook sites for a few minutes and did not see a suggestion.

how about to search cookboocks or docs Fortinet sites first ?

Check for mail collector and guest management wifi networks. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to find solution.

Im a noob too.

My problem is that my client doesnt have a FortiAP, just a Fortigate.

Can he provides Fortinet Captive Portal just with Fortigate?
