Hello everyone,
I have a problem where i cannot ping PC from fortiGate, I already set the Static Routing inside fortiGate for the PC network Segment, but I can ping the router IP with same segment as PC. Here's the topology below.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Only possibility I can think of are:
1) PC is not allowed to be pinged like AV software(like Win Defender) is blocking
2) PC's default route is not pointing back to 11.11.11.1.
ah, one more:
3) you specified the poing-option source with like 192.168.xxx.99 and the router doesn't have a route for 192.168.xxx.0/24 back to the FGT.
Toshi

Hi @Toshi_Esumi ,
Thank you very much,
It turns out i didn't set the Gateway from PC side. I thought by not filling the gateway, the PC can read any network (it's like 0.0.0.0 in gateway perhaps?). I also forgot to turn off the firewall in PC.
now it works fine.
