Hi: We are trying to connect a fortigate 600D to HP IMC NMS.
When all is configured and we try to test connection, we get this error:
Failure
Possible causes: 1. The device cannot be pinged. 2. SNMP settings/Telnet settings/SSH settings is incorrect. 3. Invalid characters are found. 4. device returns a failure.
I have tested all combinations of authentication/no authentication, privacy, not privacy, short user, longuser, etc. and always get the same error.
I only get working SNMPv1 or SNMPv2 with fortigate but if only complete the READ-ONLY community.
If i complete the read-write community, IMC return the same error as SNMPv3 when try to test with TEST BUTTON.
Using HP IMC 7.2
Last version of fortinet mibs installed and compiled sucessfully
Any help or hint will be welcomed.
Regards
Thanks in advance.
