Cannot Resolve DNS queries when the WAN interface is moved to a new VDOM

Changed the WAN-1 interface from Root VDOM to a new VDOM. It can resolve the hostnames in the root VDOM but cannot do the same in the latter. DNS servers are configured the same in both cases and I can ping some standard internet ip addresses (Ex:8.8.8.8) from the new VDOM.
