We are planning to deploy fortigate 7.014 in AWS and when searched in AWS Marketplace we found a image AMI Name "FortiGate-VMARM64-AWS build0601 (7.0.14) GA-3462cb0e-500c-44b3-b116-c7565b315a16" and AMI ID "ami-0f6ec3c7de6494098".
But when searched under AMI's it shows this AMI is under community AMI list . So our question is if we select this AMI and deploy the fortigate firewall and later apply the Fortinet License , will Fortigate Support this product or not or will they say since this a Community AMI and not a direct AMI from Fortinet, Fortinet will not support this Product or will not give release/patch updates for this ?
We have same doubt for using other AMI's as well, since we we want to use older version AMI's like 7.0.9, 7.010, etc.. so we want to use the community AMI available , but are concerned if Fortinet will give their Support or not. We also want to deploy fortimanager and fortianalyzer using the community AMI from marketplace since they are giving the exact version we want.

Hi @allreddy ,
Have you had a chance to check:
For AWS you can deploy directly from FMG the FGTs.
Best,
@vraev No we did not check this option, will check this and see is it helps.
@jackmelis81 Thank you for your inputs, yes our next approach was to directly contact Fortinet support .
