Hi,
I wanted to try FortiAnalyzer and downloaded Hyper-V virtual appliance 6.4.5 from the download site. I followed cookbook to set up new virtual machine but it doesn't boot at all, it ends with kernel panic. Could anyone help me? It's saying: Kernel panic - not syncing: No working init found.
Thanks
Robert

Did you get it working finally? I'm getting the same error message.
Yes,
there is a setting to specify hyper-v generation and it must be set to 1. I don't know if there is a bug in the MS console, but I had to click generation 2 and then set back to generation 1 to get it to work.

I increased the memory from 1024 to 2048 and it opens fine with no issue...
