Can't add VDOMs.

Hello,
While trying to create a new VDOM, I encountered the following error message. vdoms.png

Note that this is the first VDOM I am creating on this FortiGate-VM.

Can someone please help?

Hi @yaoran

Please check FGT VM licensing , also command from FGT cli :  get system status will show Max number of virtual domain is allowed.

My VM is licensed, and the maximum number of virtual domains is 2.

Hi @yaoran ,

Please, at least share your FGT firmware version.

If possible, please attach the FGT config. You may remove or mask any sensitive information.  You may share the FGT config with the content before "config system interface".

I am using v7.4.7, build2731.
I am sorry, I can not share the FGT config.

Hi @yaoran ,

For the FGT config, what I want to see is whether you already have 2 VDOMs or not.

So you may share the outputs of this command:

get system status

Again, you may remove or mask any sensitive information.

Regards,

Jerry

until not so long ago, there was a SKU available for purchase for FortiGate-VM e.g.FortiGate-VM01V which didnt have the VDOM capabilities by default, that is what the 01V stands for.

maybe that's your issue in this case.
