Can't access admin page

I work in company, and i must configure new fortigate 90D to existing 100C because end of life. To shorten the time I configure I do a copy and paste configuration from 100c to 90d on the backup file. Then i do restore on 90d, but load is soo long ... And now i can not access admin page at default 192.168.1.99, can anyone help me?

Welcome to the forums.

When migrating from one device to another, it's not simply cut from one and paste to another. There is more behind the scenes that needs to be considered:

* Are the devices the same?

* Are the interface names the same?

* Are the firmware levels the same?

I would try to log in from the console and see what is going wrong there. If your past login/management IP was still 192.168.1.99, then you have at least one issue to look into.

Yes it's my fault :(. All different. I do not understand how to go through cli. I previously used the web interface to log into the admin page using ip 192.168.1.99. Now it can not be accessed via the same ip on the web interface. Is there a way to reset to the default settings.? As I know Fortigate 90D does not have a button to reset.

problem is, i can not access from LAN1 port with web browser. After that I tried to open it in another way that is with FortiExplorer for Windows with MGMT to USB cable Itswork.

OK, thanks.

Have you checked (in System > Interfaces > internal1) that mgmt access to this port is allowed? Check HTTPS, SSH and PING (always), otherwise you won't be allowed to connect.
