Hi everybody,
I've got a FortiWiFi 61F and I'd like to know if those two FortiLink ports (A-B) can be used as a regular interfaces (as those 5x GE RJ45 Internal Ports). Apparently these aren't intended for this purpose as this article shows, right? They are only(?) intended to remotely manage FortiSwitch units, but could I eventually use them as regular interfaces?
Thank you everyone.
I agree with your points basically
Btw, `abort` throws the message `Unknown action 0`
So I'm not sure there is a way to exit without saving changes.
Please share the console/ssh output from a little before you executed abort. Or just open a ticket at TAC.

For example:
# config system dns-server
(dns-server) # show
config system dns-server
edit "wan1"
next
edit "internal5"
next
edit "internal1"
next
end
(dns-server) # abort
Unknown action 0
(dns-server) #
What's `TAC`?
You're not in editing mode like under "edit wan1". So nothing to "abort". "end" is just getting out of "config system dns-server" so you're not saving anything by ending it.
You're messing up the dns-server config. Remove those entries use "del wan1", "del internal5", and "del internal1". Then read manual what "config system dns-server" does like below before adding anything. Like below: https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.2.4/cookbook/960561/fortigate-dns-server
TAC is Technical Assistance Center, in other words "Support" at https://support.fortinet.com/
Since your unit is brand-new, you should have at least one year support. You need to create your account with your email address if you don't have it yet. Then register your unit and you can open a ticket.
Thank you for your suggestions, I'd appreciate your help with the DNS thing, here you have the topic where I'm asking about this https://forum.fortinet.com/tm.aspx?m=197045 According to the manual the step 13 says you have to "Enable DNS services on an interface", what I'm doing wrong?
