Can an external memory drive be used to store logs in a Fortigate with FortiOS 7.4?
Hi everyone,
I have read that in previous FortiOS versions, for fortigate devices without onboard memory, it was possible to store logs to an external memory. Is this now possible, or do you still need a Fortinet-licensed product (e.g. FortiAnalyzer or FortiCloud) to do so?

Hi
You can also send them on a syslog server.

Logging to external storage or drive is already not supported.
You can enable Remote Logging to FortiAnalyzer, Fortigate Cloud or Syslog servers.

Also running on 7.4.3 I opened a ticket with TAC as well, this is manifesting in a strange way in my case, but sounds similar. The new policy is pointing at a VIP and at this point has "All" services allowed, HTTP/80 hits the policy and forwards to the VIP/NAT ip, however HTTPS/443 skips that policy and falls to implicit deny. The policy should match ALL services/ports. It is strange that the policy properly matches the HTTP traffic but not HTTPS.
