Can Fortigate be Moved to Another Country?

Hi All,

My case is that our branch company will be closed. Valuable assets may be transported to our

headquarter in another country. Is there any limitation if we move our  firewall to another country? If we are going to buy new license, who should we buy from? The original seller or the seller in another country? Looking forward to your answer. Thanks.

I had to move a few machines to a different country and had to get new licenses. You can contact the Fortinet partner in the new country and they can help you with the licenses.

I'm honestly not sure, I'm sorry to say.

However, your Fortinet Sales representative or partner should know this, so I would suggest reaching out to them to ensure any formalities that might be necessary are taken care of and IF another Sales representative would then take over, your current representative should be able to find out who any put you in touch with them.

Hello, You can move, just create a CS case and make sure regions are  changed in the license details
