Hello guys
In Fortigate, I'm using cache functionality in our navigation rules. The fact is that cache hits are small and the "non-cacheable" slice is very large.
Would deep inspection help increase cache hits?
What are the best practices for using cache in Fortigate?
Is there a way to view what is this "non-cacheable" traffic is too large?![]()
hugs

Hi,
Have a look at the following article:
http://help.fortinet.com/fos50hlp/52data/Content/FortiOS/fortigate-WAN-opt-52/web_cache.htm
It should answer all your questions.
NSE5, CCSE, CCNA R&S, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MTA Security, ITIL v3
If you have alot of SSL traffic then it won't be cached; enabling deep inspection can increase the cache hits for these sessions.
