Hello,
Good morning!
I am using FortiClient to connect to my clients. I am using version 7.4.0.1658:
Serial:FCT8003717107945
UID2:91110A75512C464DA96D06F1F00C54AD
However, every time I connect, my CPU exceeds 90% and even after closing the connection and turning off FortiClient, the consumption remains above 90%. So to solve this, I need to restart the machine every time this happens.
I am using Windows 11.
Is there some kind of incompatibility? Is there a fix for this?
Could you help me?
The image below shows the processing after connecting to the VPN using Forticlient.
And in the image below is the processing before connecting to the VPN using Forticlient:
Thank you!

Hello Eduardo
I see on the screenshots that FortiClient is not listed in the top CPU consuming processes.
Is there any indication that the high CPU consumption is due to FortiClient?
Hello AEK,
Good Afternoon!
I only printed the processes that consume the most processing power.
But the idea I wanted to convey in the images is that in one I am not connected to any VPN via FortiClient and in the other I connect to a VPN with FortClient and in this all those processes start to use a lot of CPU.
I left the machine on for 1 hour without opening a VPN connection with FortClient and the CPU consumption did not exceed 30%. So when I connected to the VPN with FortiClient, those processes in the image instantly started to consume the CPU.
Thanks.
Hi Eduardo
Yes, I do.
I can navigate on my machine normally.
However, when I installed FortiClient I just clicked next, next, next, so I don't know if this setting exists.
If you can tell me where I can see it, I can take a look.
Thanks!
