Hello. I am going to buy used Fortigate 30E unit. I understand I will not get any support and any FW updates but this is Ok for my home use purpose. How can I check if the unit is fully deleted from the seller's account, he cannot get the access to it? Or what can I do with the unit to fully reset it and remove any references to the support account of previous user?

The only way to tell that I am aware of is to try to register the S/N yourself. You may need to create a ticket with cs@fortinet.com to get the unit registered under your account and unlink theirs. Not sure if they will do this with an expired unit or not, but worth a try.
