Block application on software inventory

Hello, everyone. I'd like to know how to block specific app that appear on the FortiClient EMS software inventory in the following image:

As per my knowledge you cannot block the application from app inventory, but you can for example use application firewall profile to block the traffic related to that application.

I was looking for this and couldn't find it. It is a weakness of FortiClient EMS.

If I use the application firewall to block applications based on protocol, it will have an impact on other authorized applications that use that protocol.

Application firewall doesn't block the protocol, it detects the application signature and blocks its specific traffic.

• As per my knowledge, it contains both predefined application signatures and protocols or signatures that affect all applications. 
• There are a lot of applications not on this list. Fortinet should add a feature to block non-predefined applications.
