Block Certain versions of Browsers?

Hi,

Is application control able to block certain versions of browsers? My office requests that IE browsers before version 9 to be blocked, I guess due to security issues.

You could write a  custom IPS signature but keep in mind the user-agent can easily be spoof'd or changed.

FWIW; This is a bad method for  controlling browsers,  you really should be fixing the root issue or installing a explicit proxy.
