Hi

why using a specific tool.....you can upload the logs from FTP again to WebGui of FAZ and import them to look at the old logs. The logs stored on the FTP or logs from FAZ are using Fortinet specific format. If you upload the logs to specific ADOM from FTP the import process looks at the header and stores the log to the correct FGT. After that you will find the log/s under log browse. From this point of view no need to have a specific tool....your tool is FAZ.

hope this helps

Hi

can be configured over Gui under System Settings > Advanced > Device Log Settings or over CLI:

Following Options can be set:                 # set ?          del-files         Enable/disable log file deletion after uploading.          directory         Upload server directory.          file-size         Roll log files when they reach this size (MB).          gzip-format       Enable/disable compression of uploaded log files.          hour              Log files rolling schedule (hour).          ip                Upload server IP address.          log-format        Format of uploaded log files.          min               Log files rolling schedule (minutes)          password          Upload server login password.          server-type       Upload server type.          upload            Enable/disable log file uploads.          upload-hour       Log files upload schedule (hour).          upload-trigger    Event triggering log files upload.          username          Upload server login username.          when              Roll log files periodically.                  This is an example how it can look like:                 # config system log settings         # config rolling-regular         # set file-size 250         # set upload enable         # set when weekly         # set days mon         # set del-files disable         # set directory "/log-archive/log-archive-faz/"         # set gzip-format enable         # set hour 6         # set ip [IPv4 Adresse des Zielservers]         # set log-format native         # set min 0         # set password [Passwort]         # set server-type ftp         # set upload-hour  0         # set upload-mode backup         # set upload-trigger on-roll         # set username [Username]         # end         # end
