Hi to all,
Recently, my company has changed all its security applications to Fortinet. We have a FortiGate FG100D and FortiClient is installed in all the endpoints as security solution. The servers also have FC installed. My backup server is BackupExec 2014.
The problem comes because two of my servers, the DCs, are Win08 (not R2). The only version of FC that I can install is 5.0.X, since later ones do not work with Win08. When BackupExec tries to copy data from these servers, it gives an error of communication lost. I have added local agent of BackupExec to the list of exclusions, but this has not changed anything. The only way to copy data from these servers is deregistering FC and closing it. Then everything works fine.
If someone has a scenario similar to that or has experience working with BackupExec and FortiClient, I would thank any help, if you need any further detail, let me know.
Thank you all for your help and time. Regards.
