Azure MFA Authentication with Radius / NPS Plugin

Hi guys,

i followed the cookbook

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.2.0/azure-cookbook/517582/configuring-forticlient-vpn...

And the authentciation works, if i disable with the NPS Plugin. However with the plugin active it does not work, it says connection fails. The connection test itself works, always. This logic does make sense when i read how the radius server act with an active Azure Plugin. But because there is a cookbook, i expect that this special behaviour is taken care of, which seems it isnt.

Can anyone point me further, im a fortinet newbie.

Kind Regards

Was fixed with fortinet Support.

Global timeout parameter had to be increased.

config sys global set remoteauthtimeout 30 end

so you have now 30 seconds to fulfill your mfa requirements.
