Hi,
Is there any option for automating the backup of firewalls from Fortimanager. Individual firewall backup from firewall cli and manager backup from manager cli is known now. But is it possible to take all from FortiManager to an FTP or SCP folder ?

Hi,
You can automate backup to ftp from FortiGate itself, please see https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-How-to-send-automated-backups-of-the-confi...

That is known, the question is about the feasibility to do from one single console!
yes, you can...FortiGate can do it by itself as you known or you can device FortiManager to do it using script, please see https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiManager/Technical-Tip-How-to-schedule-a-running-of-a-script-f...

hm I'd say you already have that as FortiManager keeps every single revision of your device config and it also keeps the policy package(s).
So if you have a backup of your FMG you also have backups of the FGT that are in FMG.

So the Fortimanager configurations have all managed firewall device config and policies ?
Yes, thats known..FortiManager backup would have all managed device config as well...

Jin
