For example for Palo Alto exist Expedition tool

Thank you for posting. The FortiGate Assessment Tool is not a tool that exists, and it is therefore not recommended by Fortinet.

so basically there is no product to do asessment on a Fortinet that is not paid for? So if I want to have a tool that produces me a report on the health and compliance of the firewall, which toll should I use?

No, I was just responding specifically to the 'FortiGate Assessment Tool', which doesn't exist. As other commenters in this thread have suggested, the FortiConverter tool may cover your needs: https://www.fortinet.com/products/next-generation-firewall/forticonverter

Otherwise, I recommend seeing Danny's reply in this thread, which has a number of tools that may work. I hope that helps!
