Are the new FortiSwitch 1xx E-Series as slow as the datasheet...

Please take a good look at the datasheet for the new E-Series Secure Access Switches?

It says that the 1xx E-Series have a Network Latency of staggering 4ms !!! - thats about 4000 times slower than swithes from other vendors.

Are they really that slow? How can you convince a customer to buy a switch like that?

I think so too, but this type of typing error destroys the credibility of the entire document.

Does any one know where to get the correct data for the E-Series Switches?

Kaj,

Thank you for pointing this one out.  It is indeed a typo and a corrected version of the datasheet should be published shortly.

The correct value is <4us (microseconds),

Regards,

Admin.
