Application Log not on FortiGate only on ForitAnalyzer

Hi, I have a problem I hope it is only some settings issue which I did not figure out. I have an application control set up but I have no logs on FortiGate. The Application Logs are missing. When I set to send the logs to FortiAnalyzer I can see the logs on the Analyzer but not on FGT. Can anyone guide me how to enable it?

I see the same problem with a 3810A running 5.0.7. I also verified both " log" and " extended-utm-log" are enabled in the app sensor as well as app-ctrl enabled in the log filter for both memory and syslog. GUI log location is memory in my case.

If using the GUI -- have you guys checked to see what log device the GUI is reading from? config log gui set log-device <value> end

Hi Dave, Yes it is checked. I have this problem on all devices on version 5.0.7 and 5.0.6. Maybe on older versions is the same, I cannot confirm it now. But I have the same issue on FGT80C and FGT100D etc. All the time when I set sending the logs to FortiAnalyzer the Application logs are shown on the Analyzer. Also when I change to show the logs from the FortiAnalyzer the FortiGate does not show the Application logs. It should be some settings somewhere.
