Application Control doesn't list desired application.

A customer wishes to allow a particular app called "Welink" in his Destination list in the Policy Rule iwhile configuring his SD-WAN. If the application isn't present under the application menu, what else can be done to allow said application?

I was thinking tbaout configuring a url filtering policy but not exactly sure. Any tips? Custom signature creation is a chore.

 You can create your own IPS and Application Control signatures.

Ideally you have a packet capture of traffic accessing the Welink application and can use that to define a custom sig.

Note also some apps may require SSL inspection if they are encrypted.
