Hello,
we are having issues with dropped connections to apple TVs. We have checked the wireless setting a few times and think they are corrected. Do I need to have a separate interface to the wifi controller with no web filter? We are using Aruba for wireless so I'm not sure if the setup for FortiAP would apply to another make. Could I just open the Airplay ports on the current policy or do I need to separate the Apple TVs from the main network?
Thanks In Advance
Marc

I suggest taking a look at this document or that document for the Fortigate side. Not familiar with Aruba wireless devices, but taking a look at their support documents, I gather they have their own wireless controller, which I am assuming you are using. I suggest skimming their "KB" to see what is needed from their side to get airplay working.
Edit: This Aruba KB article lists the ports needed to be open[strike] on the firewall[/strike].
