Anybody familiar with FortiDDoS?

Just wondering what the cost is like for one of these, and would it work at a customer endpoint directly - like at a house or a business with a single 1GB wan connection. Not sure what layer the DDoS is happening at, but I reckon it's at layer 7 if it's making it through the ISP?
