Any Outage if I Remove Interfaces a from Hardware Switch?

Hi All,

We have a Hardware Switch set up on our HA pair of 200F units on 7.0.12. We have Ports 1-8 assigned to the HS, but we only currently use Port 1. I would like to change the HS to only be assigned to Ports 1-4 so I can reuse 5-6 for a second HS.

What I have not been able to find an answer to is, if I remove ports 5-8 from the existing HS, will it cause any outage to the connection on Port 1 when I click OK?

No, at least not in my experience.

Thanks to both of you for the info. I've now done the deed and had no reports of any outages.
