Allow only yahoo mail

Hi, I want to allow the access only to sites that contains " yahoo" in the URL. I configured a web browser filter which restrics the access, but after I login, I am not able to see the emails from Inbox/Sent/etc. folders. Can anyone tell me how to configure this kind of filter? How did you actually go about blocking access to all sites accept yahoo? Web Filter profile? URL filter? Application Control? Since I do not have an Yahoo account, I am not familiar with the inner workings of their web-mail page. But I am guessing the yahoo web mail page connects to other sites (in the back ground). You need to find out which sites (URLs) need to be allowed through. You can do this via browsing the page source for the site and/or check the blocked URLs (on the Log and Archive Statistics or UTM log) assuming you have logging enabled on the Fortigate. Generally, when a client of ours request yahoo be unblocked, we add the URL to a URL filter rule (allow or monitor) then create an Application Sensor that unblocks yahoo IM/Email/web traffic.

Hi, Thank you Dave Hall & Fullmoon. With your help I resolved the problem. Yahoo mail uses " *.yimg.com" site. I used the template same as for yahoo.com, and now everything works as desired. Best regards, Catalin C.
