Allow and deny Specific user

i have two queries

=> Allow/deny specific websites on specific users with scheduling

Deny video streaming, tv channels, MS updates, java, adobe, etc between 9 am to 5 pm.

=> Allow windows updates, java, adobe and anti-virus updates between 1 to 2 pm

Please guide me . i need step by step configuration

Do you have active directory integrated with fortigate?

if yes, just create group for users and from webfilter you can deny and allow website.

Deny video streaming, tv channels, MS updates, java, adobe, etc between 9 am to 5 pm.

you can do this from webfliter and create schedule you want from policy&object and assigned to policy

=> Allow windows updates, java, adobe and anti-virus updates between 1 to 2 pm

create policy and create schedule from policy&object and assigned to fwpolicy

Fortinet has a cookbooks with a few ingredients that would demo TODpolicy and user groups or identity policies. Google or YouTube the  cookbooks and examples.

But CAD gave you a summarize means for allow just what your  needing.
