We have a fortigate 500D running v5.4.1
I am unable to allow Skype and teamviewer for the network users.
Attached is a screenshot of my Application control sensor.
I have also allowed Internet telephony in my Web filter policy.
Any help will be appreciated.

hi,
hard to tell from what you're showing.
Policy? Do you allow the corresponding services (TV uses HTTPS, Skype -?)?
Policies are matched top-down, do you account for this?
One indication that the AC blocks this traffic would be log entries. What do you see in the security logs?
If you don't mind please post an example of the policy you are attaching this sensor to.
Thanks!

Hello thesirnewton,
Yours is likely a policy configuration problem. Since you did not set "Skype" and "TeamViewer" to Block, the traffic should not be blocked by the signatures. Did you enable the correct services? Skype and TeamViewer use more ports than the standard 80 and 443.
Hi thesirnewton,
Could you please confirm that you are selecting the correct sensor whilst applying on the policy.
Kind Regards
bray
