DB9 pin #5 (Red) to RJ-45 #5 or RJ-25 #4 or RJ-11 #3 (White-Blue)
The adapter I have can use an 8 position (RJ-45) adapter, but the APC can only use
at most a 6 position (RJ-25) adapter, so I made a straight through cable with the
RJ-45 on one side and the RJ-25 on the other. I just clipped RJ-45 wires 1 and 8.
If you use a rolled cable (like the telephone company uses), I don't believe this
setup will work.
