AP logs
These commands do not work from the AP prompt to delete the flash logs. I dont have a controller, just need to get everything cleared off of them so we can get rid of these

the file command you listed is for older-generation Meru-based AP's.
for FAP-U421E you can just type "factoryreset
" to reset factory settings.

After it reset it returns to a configuration mode or not sure if its called Meru or something. When you enter 'flashcmds show' it has a bunch of logs. You can clear the dmegs logs but boot logs still remain.

OK sounds like you have the Meru infrastructure boot image enabled.
You can reset to factory default by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds. This should clear everything off the AP.

Interesting. To be honest I have no experience with the Meru software. I wonder if you convert it to the Fortinet software if that would clear things?
Can you try selecting the Fortinet firmware image and rebooting and see if you still see the files?
