SD-WAN doesn't need license.

can you guide me how to check from SD-WAN..

AEK

You can follow this guide to configure SD-WAN.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/7.4.2/administration-guide/889544/sd-wan-quick-start

However I think you are focusing on SD-WAN while in my opinion the issue and solution are probably not there.

Try follow my previous recommendations if possible.

Another possibility is that the issue can be related to your firmware version. For critical environment I'd not use 7.4.2 which is not mature yet. 7.0.13 is actually recommended by Fortinet for 60F.

when I will try to configure SD-WAN for monitor wan cant see the configure WAN port in interface only can see WAN2 which is not in use

AEK

That's normal. Your WAN interface is already used. You need first to remove all dependencies to this interface before use it in SD-WAN.

There is a faster way to to this:

  1. Go to Network > Interfaces
  2. Select WAN1 interface
  3. Click on the "Integrate Interface" button
  4. In the wizard, select "Migrate to SD-WAN"
  5. Follow the wizard till the end

However you should take precautions before doing so:

  • Take a full backup of your FortiGate config
  • Migrate to SD-WAN during off-hours

I also recommend first to read about SD-WAN and have a look at what you can exactly monitor with SD-WAN, in order to see if it is what you need.
