5.2 firmware for AP' s

My APs are currently on 5.0 build 0064, what are the new features of 5.2 f/w for the APs? Model FortiAp 221B Are you recommending that we upgrade to latest f/w?

Hi Masters, I have downgraded my FortiAP' s to 5.0.8 . But the CPU usage is stuck with 100%. Controller is 5.2. How do I get rid of from this?

It seems both FortiAP 5.0.7 & 5.0.8 both are having the same issues ( high CPU usage) when i downgraded. Any thoughts? Why 7&8 are making high CPU ( in AP' s)with 5.2 controller. I didn' t find any other option except to put the 5.2 back to fix the issue.. :(

Hi Nihas, Can you disable spectrum analysis on both radio' s and try. If it is successful then pls upgrade to 5.2

Now i am using 5.2 , this screen shots are from 5.2 only. Basically this is my issue . In FAP 5.2 - FAPs are getting restarted at least once in a day with a message " transmission control reached maximum" . I have downgraded FAP OS to 5.0.8 & 5.0.7 and in both had the same CPU 100% issue. And now again I am running on FAP 5.2 . As expected one of the FAPs got restarted yesterday evening with the same message. Anyways , I will disable spectrum analysis and let' s see.

For the FAP221B disconnection issue with 5.2 build, try the new 5.2.1 release, which will be available this week.
