4G-modems don't work with E-model anymore

Hello!

We have used some Huawei 4G-modems with 40C and 30D models. Somehow my colleague got software for them so they worked properly as bridges: E3276 and E392. The model E3372 didn't work. Then upgrade from 40C to 30D was with no problems.

Now with 30E models they don't work as such anymore. Only E3276 gives internet access but not with static IP as written into APN, and tunnel to HQ didn't work. I also added apn in two different ways to lte-modem configuration but that didn't help. Both static and pppoe modes for modem didn't make any difference. And for E392, it is not even recognised as a modem, it seems.

Has anybody got these working? Was any special firmware for modems necessary or some special configuration in 30E (5.4.1)? Does anybody know any other such USB-modem and software version with which 30E model would work?

Hi,

Please refer the list of supported modems.

E3372 is not in supported list.
